Ongaku Otaku was a magazine published by Mason Jones, devoted exclusively to coverage of Japanese independent bands and culture. The first issue was published in May of 1995. Published annually, four issues of Ongaku Otaku were made, after which it ceased publication. A retired, related blog is at http://ongakublog.wordpress.com.
